The CARIFTA Games is an annual athletics competition founded by the Caribbean Free Trade Association.
Carifta also has a swimming competition and a chess competition these will be held on another island.
Curacao is a Lesser Antilles island country in the southern Caribbean Sea and is part of the Dutch Caribbean region. Curacao is approximately 65 kilometers (40 miles) north of the Venezuelan coast. It is a constituent country (Dutch: land) of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
SDK stadium is in Brievengat district. It is an urban area that also has a small industrial park.
SDK is the biggest sport compound of Curacao. It has indoor and outdoor locations, Olympic swimming pool, soccer / baseball field and more.
